Fatigue, sleep disorders, increased heart rate, frequent illness, injuries and, in the case of athletes, the lack of improvement in competition results, among other things, indicate the results of large and incorrectly planned loads. Both variants, both undertraining and overtraining, can remain unnoticed in the background of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but a sports doctor screens it out with the help of medical equipment and systematic analysis.
As a result of the load test, you will find out:
1. What is your current physical capacity
2. Own lung capacity;
3. How does your heart work when you are satisfied and how does it work under load – with the help of EKG;
4. What load to exercise with (including individual heart rate range).
With the help of a load test, you can create the best personal training plan.
Based on the received information, you can prepare a personal training plan that takes into account your physiological indicators and ensures the maximum effectiveness of the training. Innomedica cooperates with professional private trainers who will be happy to help you.

Who are load tests for?
A sports medicine health examination is useful both for people who are just thinking about starting sports and for athletes training at a professional level. During the studies, health-related physical capacity, load tolerance and current athletic form are assessed and advice is given for the future (training loads, diet).
What do load tests show?
The exercise test evaluates the adaptation of the cardiovascular system to the exercise (blood pressure, heart rate are measured, cardiogram during exercise is recorded). It is also possible to determine the maximum oxygen consumption capacity (characterizes a person’s endurance abilities) and measure lactate formation in the blood during exercise. Based on these indicators, a person’s aerobic and anaerobic threshold and individual heart rate ranges suitable for training are determined.
How are load tests performed?
Stress tests can be done both on a bicycle ergometer and on a treadmill (whether from runs or walks “uphill”). The selection of the test is primarily based on the sport that is mainly practiced, as the testing should be as close to the sport as possible.
What type of cycle ergometer tests?
One cycle ergometer is with a road bike frame (M size) Cyclus 2. It is expected to be suitable for people 150 – 190 cm tall. The pedals are Shimano SPD pedals. If other pedals fit your cycling shoes, please bring them along.
The second cycle ergometer is a normal cycle ergometer used in load tests, where it is also possible to change the pedals. If you want to do the load test on a cycle ergometer with a road bike frame, please say so when registering for the test.
